A little different for me

It is good to break outside of the box every once in awhile.  I created a fabric book with animal print fabric.  I do love a good animal print but don't often work with that color scheme.  Here I have stencilled trees onto one of the pages.  My instinct is to add stitching since it is a fabric book.  However, the pages are sewn together and that means the back of the stitching would show on the next page.  Yuck.  So now I ponder what next?  More paint?

Love how the trees lurk in the animal versus the animal lurking in the trees. Very haunting.

I agree about getting outside the box now and then. Your venture is just gorgeous! I love the design a lot.

If you appliqued something, would those stitches also show on the next page?
Trees and animal print go well together.

Perhaps too late for this book, but the next might be wisely created with every other page spread in mind. It's such a shame to not feel a piece is completed. Or possibly use an all over stitch that would compliment both pages it might cover. A running stitch perhaps?
How about the next page that would have stitching showing being the challenge to see what you can do or add to it to make it interesting in its own right.?
