Mandala Progress
I do love going through my stash and finding just the right piece of fabric. I bought this lovely silk years ago and I am happy to finally use it. Stitching through silk is always a pleasure. I think it works quite well with my painted doily. Now it is time to consider how I will further embellish this. I kind of like it just as it is but beads are also calling to me. I am okay with letting the next step come to me when it is ready. There are so many ideas percolating in my head right now. Some with deadlines so others will have to wait.
