I Like
I like silk. It feels SO good! When we were in Lake Como I bought this beautiful silk scarf. My generous hubby didn't bat an eye at the ridiculous price. Buying an Italian silk scarf in Italy was on my to-do list. It will last for years and I will cherish and enjoy it. No regrets. I had wanted to purchase some silk for stitching but we didn't make it to any fabric stores while there. I was disappointed but I am not one to sulk about such things. I certainly wouldn't let it ruin a good vacation! I like to shop at thrift stores. You just never know what treasure you might find. To my delight, I found this a couple of weeks ago. Yards of gorgeous silk. Illuminated letters like we saw in a church in Sienna. Colours that remind me of Florence. Utterly perfect.
