crazy qult block improved

I got some really great advice as to how to improve this block.  I have worked on it for the last week and came up with this.  I like it.  It still isn't totally encrusted but it is better than it was.  I am learning and that is what counts.

Happy Anniversary blog candy give away

Two years ago today I started this blog.  Honestly I had no idea what I was doing.  I wondered if I had enough to say to keep a blog going.  I wondered if I could make enough art to keep posting on a regular basis.  I wondered if anyone would ever look at my blog.  I am happy to say that there was no need to be concerned about any of those things.  I enjoy posting and hope that people find it informative, inspiring or helpful in some simple way. 
I love to give.  It is a very rewarding thing to do.  The fibres pictured above are my way of saying thank you to a lucky winner.  All you have to do to be entered is be a follower and leave a comment on this post.  I will draw a name on Saturday.  I will keep adding to this blog candy as I am puttering around the studio this week.
