Work in Progress Wednesday
Most of these fabrics are scraps from my own painted/dyed fabrics. I find it difficult to let go of these pretty little treasures so I have sewn them all together. I am undecided about what comes next. I could treat it like a crazy quilt but there are so many long, straight seams. I think it wouldn't be very interesting. I could apply a layer of sparkly sheer fabric and stitch it down with some interesting machine stitches. I could burn back some of that layer. I have done that in other projects. What else could I possibly do with this? It isn't at all interesting at this stage. It might be time to dig out some books from my personal library. I bet some of the wonderful authors have some magnificent ideas that I could incorporate into this.
