Leaves, leaves, leaves

I am working on two projects that require leaves.  Here are some of the mixed media leaves I have created so far.  I have a 'thing' for leaves.  Yesterday's blog post was about what soothes my soul.  I mentioned art in that post art but not leaves.  My Mom used to tell me that when I was a small baby she would set me by a window so that I could see the leaves on our tree.  She said I would sit there for hours contentedly watching the leaves.  To this day I can look a window and see the wind moving the leaves and feel all the stress leave my body.

Many of those who meditate use some kind of rhythm and might listen to their own heartbeat or imagine waves washing up on a beach, or leaves dancing in the wind. You started mediation very early in life!
What a wonderful collection of leaves you have created. Thank you for sharing the importance behind them.
