Work in Progress Wednesday

This isn't a great photo.  I can't seem to the colors to show properly.  Nonetheless here is my March crazy quilt block.  All of the fabrics used are silk.  Yum!  I do enjoy working with silk!  Originally I thought I would do all the hand stitching with silk thread.  However I felt the need to use the ribbon and I don't think it is silk.  So then I thought, why limit myself.  I am not fond of limits!  I added my miniature hyperbolic crochet and I am quite pleased with that.  There are a lot of french knots done in a sparkly thread but the camera didn't capture the sparkle.

It looks great. The crochet is really effective. And even though the colours aren't true, they still look good :)
