I Like
Did you ever go to sleep away camp? Where and what was it like? Did you enjoy it or miss home too much? I did go for a short sleepaway camp. It was our grade 8 graduation treat. It was only a few nights so I did not miss home. Home wasn't exactly wonderful at that time either so a getaway to northern Ontario was good for the soul. It was rustic but at that time in my life I didn't care. NOW I care. No thank you to the rustic! I love walking in my neighbourhood but especially in the summer. Look at that magnificent flower! It is growing just a block away. It is like a burst of sunshine! I like that my granddaughter wanted me to come see her grade 2 play yesterday. She was the star of the show! Sure, I am prejudice in her favour but two other adults also commented to me. It was adorable! I like listening to podcasts. I came across two new ones this week. Unpublished was one of them....
