Journal prompt #53

1 year = 365 opportunities, not really a quote.  Also, feels like this shouldn't  the last prompt of the year.  Oh well.  I wasn't expecting to have another prompt so had to squeeze this in on the last page of my journal.  It feels good to have that journal completed.  Looking over it I am pleased with all the colorful pages.
When I look ahead for 2017 I am excited for the opportunities I have.  And I am grateful, oh so grateful.  I have so much.  I have more than enough supplies for all the projects I have ahead of me.  I am trusting that I will have time for them as well.

Of those 365 opportunities you of course have the opportunity to do nothing! Make plans but don't be afraid of skipping them if they turn out to be burdensome.

I am curious about the journal prompts. I came to your site via tast. Are these journal prompts something you find or are you getting them through a challenge?

Slow Stitching Sunday

 Working on another wool mandala.  It is a pleasure to have the wool on my lap now that the weather has turned colder.  I started this project back in the summer and didn't enjoy working on it so much then.  I wonder if I can complete this project this winter.  There are fifteen wool mandalas to do.  It doesn't seem likely that I will.  I could be wrong.  I don't want to put any undue pressure on myself.  There is no deadline.  The spring might be cool enough to continue working on it.   My but I do jump into the future.  Slow stitching really helps me to be present.  I am so grateful that stitching is such a balm for my soul.  We all need to have something that does that for us.   I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
