My bead journal for January is rather a simple shape. Until I get a grip on all the creative projects I have given myself this year I will keep things simple. I do not like feeling overwhelmed. I am beading on leather this month. I was gifted some leather last year and wanted to give it a try. It is a bit tough to stitch through. Definitely not a favorite but I will do it again at some point.
My creative projects this year are:
monthly: bead journal, crazy quilt block and fibre guild challenge
weekly: Color Me Positive journal prompt
daily: A Stitch a Day

Are you using a triangular tipped leather needle? They usually make the stitching so much easier.
