Slow Stitching Sunday


 I have had very little time for stitching this week.  I am still putting my studio back together.  That also means going through my stash, purging, cleaning and organizing it.  No small task!  I have had some minutes to whip the running stitch that I did with wool thread.  I am using a Sue Spargo cotton thread and am pleased with the way it looks.

I'll be doing the same thing in the next year, and it is a huge task. Glad you found a few moments for stitching!

Love the colors in this one. I am thinking today I need to go in and dig through my nautical fabrics, and that is going to cause a big mess, and I will have to reorganize things again. Happy stitching!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
