Slow Stitching Sunday


 The Purple Reign Challenge for the San Francisco School of Needlework is due in two weeks.  There is a lot of stitching in this one but you do have to look closely to see it properly.  My thanks to Queeniepatch for the suggestion  to add some blue to this.  I had thought that would finish this off.  Now that I have it stitched I am wondering if this mandala needs something further.  With the due date looming I am tempted to call it finished though.  What do you think?

Oh, that is pretty! I love the purple background with the white design and sparkly beads on it. I can't say that it needs more stitching - love it as is!

I love the additional aqua. IF you want any more, how about adding a small detail on each tip of the petals?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
