I Like

LeeAnna has asked us:

did you ever go to "camp" as a youth? what was that like, did you like
it? Did you go to learning camps like space camp, acting or music or
dance camp where you went each day but slept at home?

At the end of grade 8, we went to a camp for three days.  We stayed in cabins and enjoyed a lot of nature.  Swimming and canoeing were the main activities.  Canoeing is just my speed when it comes to boats!  It was a good experience.  Mainly we spent weekends at our cottage in the Muskokas.  I am so grateful it had plumbing!  I love the out of doors but I also like being comfortable!

I like air conditioning!  This week we are living in a heat dome.  Yikes it is hot and humid.  But there is always something to be grateful for.  It was too hot to attend an outdoor yoga class.  However, that meant that I was available to attend an impromptu art gathering.  I love making new art friends!

I love how everything works out!  Whenever I am tempted to be concerned/anxious/worried I tell myself 'everything works out'.  It really does!

I like canoeing, too! Some friends of our family had a camp in the Adirondacks and when we visited, we did lots of canoeing. Hope you're staying cool!
I'm so grateful for air conditioning. This weather would be awful without it. I have never camped but would always prefer a hotel with hot water and a comfy bed! We're under a thunderstorm warning now. The fun never stops!!

Oh, yes, definitely like air conditioning. Especially the weather we've had this week!

Angela - thanks for visiting my blog! I am quite accustomed to being outdoors with only a pit toilet, and a tent between me and all of nature. I am quite comfortable with that, but in Montana, where we have no humidity and the nights are very cool! I do admit that I appreciate my shower and bed all the more when we return! Have a great weekend!
