Work in Progress Wednesday

Many years ago I took a block a month sampler class at a local quilt store.  I learned a lot.  I learned that piecing really isn't my thing.  I did, however, create this quilt top.  It actually isn't all that bad.  I am debating whether to finish it or not.  I would like to include it in my upcoming trunk show as it is an important part of my journey.  Do you think it would be okay to include it as a UFO or does it have to be finished?

If piecing is not something that you normally do, then leave it as a flimsy and move on. And it's ok to show it too. Thank you for sharing today on Midweek Makers
I personally never mind a quilt top or two that are unfinished or in-the-process when I see a trunk show. It looks fantastic! --Andrea

I think you should leave it in as part of finding what brings you joy. If you put it in your show, unfinished, it will give others permission to say, 'I learned from this project. I can move on'. So many times we fight to work on projects that have stopped giving us joy. Share your perspective, and set others free.

I agree with the others who have commented. To show the unfinished flimsy is a way to tell but yourself and others that piecework is not your thing, but you did try it.
