I know my taste and my mother's taste rarely aligned. I doubt I liked the sandals I had but they couldn't have been too horrible. I remember going barefoot a lot. Walking on our stone driveway didn't bother me a bit! I sure couldn't do that now! In high school, I wore water buffalo sandals. I am surprised you can still get them!
