bead journal project for July

I have stitched together a fabric journal with six pages.  I plan to make the rest of my bead journal pages to fit into this book.  All the fabrics in the journal are my own, in that I painted or dyed them.  This month is used some silk paper that I created as the base for my beading.  Some of the beading is a bit tough to see so you will have to click on the picture to enlarge it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
