LeeAnna has asked did you go to the beach as a child? did you like to collect shells? build a sand castle? have a favorite swimsuit or toy? If no beach, did you go to a lake or river? We went to the beach rarely. We had a cottage in the Muskokas. I swam off the dock in a freshwater lake. I don't recall having much in the way of water toys. We did have inner tubes from large truck tires. I loved to float in them. I still love to float on an inflatable! It is the perfect way to spend a hot afternoon! I love beach vacations now. Especially in the winter! I love to collect shells and beach glass. Walking along a beach is such a lovely thing to do. I like that I got to have an art day with friends last week.
