Puzzling and pondering

I cut a kirigami snowflake and used it as a stencil to create this on a sheer piece of fabric.  The paints are metallic and I think you can see that in the photo.  I love they way it turned out.  I love the design.  Now I am not totally sure as to what to do next.  If I want to stitch on it then it will need to be adhered to some fusible interfacing as the sheer fabric is too flimsy on its own.  But then I lose the sheer quality.  Puzzling, pondering hmmm.

You might try water-soluble interfacing. "Sticky Solvy" will let you temporarily adhere your piece to it, do your stitching, then wash it out. Check it ou here: http://www.amazon.ca/Sulky-11-Inch-Printable-Fabri-Solvy-Stabilizer/dp/B004R2B3NU
