Take a Stitch Tuesday

Sharon B shows how to do the Pekinese stitch this week.  It seems rather familiar but I don't think I have done it previously.  I worked it on handmade paper with a perle cotton and a Kreinik metallic.  I worked it rather loosely as is typical of me.  The colors are not typical for me but I still like it.

This stitch is most beautiful when it is worked with a light hand and the loops are rather large, I think. This is also the perfect stitch for metallic or other difficult threads.
