Work in Progress Wednesday

I am working on a six inch block for the The Canadian Sesquicentennial Quilt  I suspect there will be many beautiful blocks submitted.  Mine is rather simple.  I plan to fill the leaf shape with stitching and beads.  I love my country and really want to be a part of this quilt project to honour Canada!

The Canadian flag is instantly recognizable and one of the first children learn. Red on white is striking and your maple leaf will be a stunner with beads and glittery things.

Your maple leaf is going to be a beautiful addition to the quilt. I can't wait to see the other embellishments you add to it.

Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party and for the link back! Aloha hugs.
