Work in Progress Wednesday

Our six-inch square guild challenge is red this month.  I am not sure if I have taken this far enough.  It seems like more could be done.  My base has two colors of red transfer foil applied to it.  The transfer foil did not transfer as well as expected so I added some red Inktense to cover the bare spots.  I then adhered the red paper kirigami.  I think it needs some hand stitching.  Hopefully, I will find the time before the meeting.

Hmm, maybe add some gold embellishments? It does seem a bit plain as it is. But, given your prior work, I'm very sure you'll come up with something to make this shine!

This kirigami is like a temari ball. Straight stitches would add to the 'thread ball' look. There there is something called beading! I hope you find the time for some embellishment.

Interesting block! It will be fun to see where you do take it. What kind of guild challenge is it. I belong to 2 guilds and would like to know more about your challenge.
