Work in Progress Wednesday

My Dream `sinchie` is done and ready for the September guild meeting.  I feel really blessed to be a member of the Grand Guild of Fibre Artists.  I have met some of the best people.   One of whom was just here to borrow one of my pieces to show at a talk she is doing.  We chatted for an hour and could have easily talked further.  It is so great to be on the same page as someone.

I had fun creating this piece using angelina fibres, a sheer ribbon and sequin waste cut up to make the flowers.

I TOTALLY get you on the 'great to be on the same page as someone'. Had that same 'sync' feeling with the owner of a newer quilt shop in Chatham just recently! Lovely piece! I haven't worked with angelina before but I wonder if it's like organza?
What a pretty piece!

Isn't it wonderful when we connect with someone like that. You can talk and talk without even noticing the passing of time.

Thanks so much for linking up to September's Stitchery Link Party and linking back. Aloha hugs!
