Work in Progress Wednesday


 My granddaughter asked me to create a mandala for her.  She picked out some old jewellery for me to use.  I have some of those pieces stitched down.  I won't be able to use all of them.  Now to figure out the stitching that will pull this all together.  

I am delighted that my granddaughter would ask me for a piece of my art.  I am truly honoured!  I am happy to do this for her.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
