I Like

Thanks LeeAnna for coming up with such great questions!

An event that had a big impact on you this year.... and how did you
handle it?

I am grateful for quiet times.  This year has started off quiet.  Well, that isn't totally true!  Grandbaby number four was born this week.  My oldest son's third child!  Gabriel James is healthy and doing well.  No baby snuggles for me until I am completely over this cold though.  Hopefully, by the weekend!

Last year I was awarded an art grant to create a mandala meditation circuit.  That was big for me.  Getting a grant is VERY competitive.  It was a complete honour to receive and it certainly bolstered my confidence as an artist.

I like to travel.  Last year we were able to go to Italy and Switzerland.  It was an amazing trip and I am so grateful to have been able to do it.  Grateful that my hubby and I have healthy bodies that are able to travel.

I like clearing out things I am not using.  It feels like spring cleaning but I often find myself doing it January.  It feels great to move things along.  Off to the thrift store where someone else may find them useful.  Clearing clutter is always good!

Congratulations on the new grandbaby! Hope you can snuggle him soon. You're amazing to go after a grant like that for your art, too. That is definitely something to be proud of!

So you've had a good start to the new year. Congratulations on becoming a grandmother for the fourth time!
A new little one in the family is the best news! I would love to hold him too, sigh. You did have great events in 2023 and here's to equally wonderful happenings in 2024!
