Funky Chairs


 Well, Banksy insisted on being in this photo of my chair.  This was my first attempt at doing reupholstery.  I think it turned out fun! My granddaughter is super excited about the furry seat!  My husband was concerned about it but I have won him over.  



These are two dining room chairs that I have painted.  The grandkids LOVE them.  After doing the first one I had to do two more right quick so there wouldn't be any fighting.  I am really pleased with the way the fabric turned out in the bottom photo.  Chalk paint works great and now the fabric is wipeable!

I have a few other chairs done but that's enough for now.  I will need to get started on the next chair soon as I want all of them to be this funky.    My poor husband!  Good thing he is a good sport!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
