Work in Progress Wednesday



 
Another of my scrolls is now finished.  Frothy lace, silk ribbon and some old jewellery adorn this scroll.  Such a pleasure to stitch this romantic goodness.  I love vintage and romantic but don't often work in that style.  It is good to break out of my box once in a while.  

These scrolls are fun for me.  They are very much crazy quilt adjacent but there are no bindings to finish them off.  I love the raggedy edges.  I also love that I can just call them finished when I am done with the fun embellishing part!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
