Slow Stitching Sunday

Another slice of the pie is finished.  I learned some new stitches which is the goal of the project.  I think this sampler will be a lovely reminder of the stitches.  I plan to keep it accessible in my studio so I can easily refer to it.

With only two slices left to fill, I find myself thinking about a project for next year.  I rather enjoy having a year-long project.  I like having something small to accomplish each month.  Years ago I did a bead journal a month project and loved it.  I don't think that group is going but I could just do it for myself.  It is fun to see what others do though.

That is such a lovely project! You've found so many interesting stitches to include. I think I'd enjoy something like that, too.

Great stitching. I worked on the CQ Journal project one year. I should make some more of those blocks, as I was doing family, and have had more family added since then.

Your sampler is so beautiful!
It is fun to share one's work with others and get inspiration from fellow group members, but you are also restricted to being there at a set time. Working alone gives you much more freedom.
So many different stitches! Great idea to hang it up for easy reference. I hope you figure out an interesting project for next year.
