Slow Stitching Sunday

This photograph is disappointing.  The wool circle is actually a powder blue but it looks grey and so dull in the photo.  I will put this one in the completed pile even though I feel it needs a bit more.  I will know better what it needs when the whole project comes together.  Moving on to the next mandala seems the right thing to do now.

There is still a stack of wool circles to get through.  I am not even half way through the stack.  I will try to stay concentrated.  I know I will love the project when it is all finished.

  1. Indoor light often makes colours washed out or dull in pictures. Try taking your pictures near a window, out of direct sunlight. I find the colours are true this way. I like the way you have embroidered this mandala. Gail at the cozy quilter

  2. That's always so disappointing when a pretty color doesn't photograph quite right! I love the design you've stitched on this one. The pink and yellow with the hearts are very appealing!

  3. Love the embroidery on this mandala. Such a great pattern. Cameras sometimes do the strangest of things.

  4. You have made good use of the Chain of Heart Stitch.
