LeeAnna has asked

what piece did you pick when you played monopoly? who did you play with,
how long would the game go on? were you a buyer of property and put
houses on them?

who kept the bank?

I didn't play Monopoly much.  I heard someone call it Monotony once and I fully agreed.  My boys asked me to buy that game at a thrift store and I only agreed if they promised to never ask me to play with them.  Thankfully, their wonderful Dad didn't mind playing with them.  I wasn't a horrible mother, I did play other games with them.

I like getting gifts.  It is one of my love languages.  They don't have to be big, fancy gifts.  My granddaughter gave me a loot bag from her birthday party.  She had an extra and she told me since I am special to her she wanted me to have it.  That melted my heart!  I don't know if I will eat the candy sucker but I am definitely going to try the watercolours!

I like sunshine and warm weather.  We are finally getting some heat.  It is such a treat to sit outside and enjoy my deck.

  1. I haven't played Monopoly in years and have no idea what piece I chose! That game would never end! It's finally warm here too. I've been eating outside on my deck. So nice!!

  2. I think of Monopoly as kind of a long, slow game, too... How fun to get a birthday treat bag!
