Slow Stitching Sunday
I believe this wool mandala is finished. It is time to pull out all the mandalas for this project. They will be stitched to a quilt. I will put them all in place but before stitching them to the quilt, I will decide if any of them need some more embroidery added.
I will need to lay it out on the floor to get a good look. Small problem with that though. My golden retriever is shedding big time. There is no chance of laying it out without getting covered in fur. Even if I thoroughly sweep as the fur gets everywhere and flies about.
It feels good to have this project nearing completion.

Looking forward to seeing what quilt these get attached to. These would be pretty layered over a boldly patterned pieced top.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty mandala, Angela! I love the colors in it. Are those swirly pieces buttons (or beads)? They make me think of seashells!
ReplyDeleteNice beads you’ve added and the turquoise gives a great pop! Sarah quilting by the sea
ReplyDeleteOh dear, wool mandalas and shedding dogs is not good. What a fabulous quilt it will be with all your lovely mandalas gathered together.
ReplyDeleteAgain, here is a yummy decoration cake seen from above.
