Slow Stitching Sunday
I am constantly amazed by how a photograph calls my attention to little problems. Problems that I don't notice while stitching. I am going to assume that it is because I am so into my stitching that I just get a bit lost in it. Not a big thing except when it creates problems.
In this photo, the green sequins don't stand out as much, but they do in the light of day! I have been adding more green beads and stitches to this butterfly. I am hoping that it will pull it all together. I am in no way trying to go for realism with my butterflies!

Love your colourful butterfly. Funny how we notice something in a picture that we don’t notice with the naked eye

Oh that butterfly is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI have the same thing happen when I look at pictures of my creations. Sometimes what I thought was working, isn't! But to me, your butterfly is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing what we miss when we're caught up in the moment with what we are stitching. Photos always seem to nudge me of something not quite right. Your butterfly is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have the same experience; photos reveal things I don't see with my own eyes. It's difficult to understand why.
