Slow Stitching Sunday

I am working on a 3D challenge from my fibre guild.  This photo is looking straight down on it.  I am always captivated by the colour and texture of the underwater world.  I am having so much fun creating the components of this piece.  A lot of them have been stitched in place, but some are still just pinned.

I have created numerous underwater-themed pieces in the past.  They were all basically flat.  One small piece was not particularly wonderful, so I am considering cutting it up to add to this.  I also need to add more stuffing inside this to add more dimension.   Good thing I have until September to finish this.

  1. That looks like a fun challenge, Angela! I love the texture in your pieces - I always want to reach right into the screen and touch them. I see the th8ngs you might find underwater in there, too!

  2. Angela, your stitching is lovely! Your creativity shines! It is reminiscent of a glass bottom boat experience.
