As a young child did you ever wear plastic sandals bonus if you also had on ankle socks

Hmm, good question.  I don't have a vivid memory of any sandals as a child.  I know my taste and my mother's taste rarely aligned.  I doubt I liked the sandals I had but they couldn't have been too horrible.  I remember going barefoot a lot.  Walking on our stone driveway didn't bother me a bit!  I sure couldn't do that now!

In high school, I wore water buffalo sandals.  I am surprised you can still get them!

I like that my fibre guild has a show right now.  It is at a local gallery and the curator is absolutely lovely.  I chatted with her at the opening reception last week.  She had received so many positive comments about our work.  She is already making plans to host our group again!

I like that there is a street in my neighbourhood that is lined with crabapple trees.  It is so pretty in the spring!  I like that the lilacs are blooming.  I like that some of my neighbours' blooms are hanging on my side of the fence!
