Slow Stitching Sunday

My funky little doll is finished.  I have to start another one!  The new one will be mainly pink.  My granddaughter is all about the pink!  These dolls will be characters in a book for my second granddaughter.  I will photograph them in different situations for the story.  I also need to create a funky unicorn for the story.

The working time isn't terribly long on these dolls.  What gets me stalled is the face.  Now that I have done one, the rest should be a bit easier.

I have selected the pink fabrics for the next doll.  I believe there will be some stitching time on the deck this afternoon with the pretty pinks.

  2. The mouth and eyes give your funky doll such a whimsical and fun look. Love the mouth! How fun the books you are creating for your granddaughters will be. Books that will be read and played with, and treasured forevermore.
