Slow Stitching Sunday

I have added more stitching to this butterfly.  I gave a new stitch a try, thanks to Queenie. She posts marvellous instructions.

This butterfly is feeling very disjointed and needs something to pull it all together.  I will put on my thinking cap and figure it out.  Art sometimes has to go through an ugly stage before it gets good.  I won't give up on it.

  1. Queening looks like someone I should follow - it would be fun to practice some new stitches! I don't think your butterfly is ugly at all, but I do sometimes think that about my own work. I agree - don't give up on it!

  4. Oh, I am so glad you used Kashmiri Ball Stitch. It IS a beautiful stitch. I like that it looks complex, but is easy to execute.
