Princess Bubbles Creates

I think this block is finished.  I have been working on the blocks for this quilt for years!  Far too many years! Yet, I find it is good to put something away at times.  I only have two blocks left to finish for this quilt and they are close so that feels good.  I would love to get this quilt all put together. Again, another new stitch.  I struggled with getting the tension and spacing correct.  However, I really do like the stitch and will add it to other blocks.  Eventually I will get it right!

May 11 Print making in many forms will be our play for the day.  We will be experimenting with transfer prints/paints as well as a number of other forms of printing.   A mixed media delight!  I LOVE print making, there is so much potential and it is oh so fun! The table cloth with the blue hand embroidery is so gorgeous!  It is almost too good to cut up but I don't have a round table to use it on.  The bracelets I will definitely take apart to use the beads.  Oh how I wish I had the time today to stitch!

This is the my May crazy quilt block.  I love that I am working ahead now!  I started the year off kind of slow but I have it in gear now.  There is still plenty to do though.

Another new stitch to me.  I really like this stitch a lot.  I will definitely be adding it to future crazy quilt blocks.  My tension certainly needs work but that will come with practice. Thanks to Sharon B at  http://pintangle.com/  for the instructions.

Today I plan to take my Mom to the opening reception for the Grand National even though I don't have any work in that show.  I am curious to see what is there!  Saturday April 27 I will be attending the opening at the Button Factory.  I have two pieces in that show.  I hope to see many friends there!
