I am longing for the warmth of spring.  I saw my first robin today and the calendar says it is spring but where is the warmth?  Poor little robin must be longing for some warmth too.  This daffodil warms my heart though.  So cheerful! This is a monoprint on watercolor paper.  I am adding French knots to it.  Wow it is going to take a while to fill in the snowflake.  It is a good thing that sometimes I like to do repetitive work that doesn't take a lot of brain power!

I have worked on this one on and off for a while.  It has loads of stitching.  I actually removed a little of the stitching from the large circle in the lower left.  I think it is more interesting that way.  I am submitting this piece for a show tomorrow.  I would be very exciting to have it accepted.

My crazy quilt block for the month of March is taking shape.   I have about half of the seams stitched.  I have a bead journal ready to go into the center.  I am aiming for a summery feeling for this block.   I am linking with http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.ca/
