The texture in the leaves is what really appeals to me in this photo.  Nature is magnificent! I am having fun working on my art bra 'Fruit Cups'.  Her Cup Runneth Over Show and Auction in support of HopeSpring Cancer Support Center is coming quickly!  I need to stitch some more fruit beads along the edge but then it should be done.  I won't know for sure until I get that stitched though. My bead journal project for July fits with a space themed body of work I have been doing.  I added a bit of hand embroidery to this and now I think it is complete. I am linking with http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.ca/

This is hand painted silk.  I adhered it to fusible interfacing, machine stitched it and then cut out the holes.  Each hole is bead encrusted around the edge.  I am wondering if I should add some more bead circles or some hand embroidery?  hmmm I am linking with http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.ca/# http://www.supermomnocape.com/

Starting on my July CQ project a little late.  Oh well, not the end of the world.  I am excited to be trying something new and different for this month.  I am incorporating a bead journal from a couple of years back.  That in itself isn't new.  The fact that the bead journal was done on a paper is the new bit.
