Princess Bubbles Creates

Triple Chain Stitch  is the featured stitch on  Sharon B's   web site this week.  I decided that I want to try the Take a Stitch Tuesday stitches with beads.  It turned out okay, not great.  I only did one set as I was hoping it would look like a flower.  It sort of does.

I am so pleased with the way my photo cards have turned out!  They will be available for sale at the  New Hamburg Studio Tour   I will be sharing space with three other artists.  Come see us on September 23, 2017. I am linking with http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.ca/

The prompt this week was friendship.  At first, I was a bit stuck.  I have some wonderful friends.  What could I say about them?  But then I thought about man's best friend.  I know cliche but I am nuts about dogs.  Doing a journal page about the best dog ever, Farley, was a pleasure.  He took a piece of my heart when he passed almost two years ago.  I still miss him.

Last week I posted this butterfly for the green 'sinchie' challenge our guild is doing.  I received some terrific ideas and was encouraged to not give up on it.  I made a color copy of it and added some black, which is allowed according to the challenge rules.  So glad I made a copy of it to try this idea out!  I will definitely add some black details to the fabric piece.  I will also be adding some beads and sequins! Sharon B  challenges us to stitch the  Feather and Chain this week.  What a great combination.  Love it!  I decided to add beads to the Feather part.
