Princess Bubbles Creates

This is my crazy quilt block for May.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I love the circle shape and will likely be creating at least three more CQ blocks in a circle shape.  I am linking to http://www.esthersquiltblog.com https://www.quiltfabrication.com/ http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.com/

I pieced together some blue fabrics.  I applied some expanding paint and heated it to make it expand.  I also adhered some blues and white glitter.  These little experiments are just fun.  It would be great to turn these little six inch blocks into something at the end of all the experimenting.  That may or may not happen.  I will have to wait and see. Sharon B  shows us the Oyster stitch this week.  This stitch adds great texture.  I could see using it to create flowers or cactus.  I used it to create some underwater 'seaweed' on this piece.

Pearl Ex, Inktense pencils, glitter and something else I don't remember at the moment have all been applied to this piece of cloth.  I am not sure if this one is finished but can't think of anything else to do to it at the moment. I am linking to http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.com/

This page is in a little journal that I made from a paper shopping bag.  There are loads of places to add my found poetry words.  However, it is already bulging at the seams.  This seems to be my tendency lately.
