slow moving butterfly

I got some nice shots of this butterfly.  It was slow and a bit lazy.  Just what a photographer wants.  Later I saw a monarch but it wouldn't settle down and was just too quick to get a picture of it.  It strange that two butterflies behave so differently.

    Gorgeous, my husband and I both shoot butterflies too. I have a big garden in Ukraine so we have lots of flying visitors. So fun. Thanks for sharing it on here. Love it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
