Experimentation
I think this fabric was from an old pillowcase. There is some embroidery and fancy stitching to join the two pieces together. I have added some gesso for texture and paint. I think the added texture is interesting but the painting needs some improvement. I would also like to add my own embroidery to this. That might prove to be a miserable exercise in futility though. Stitching through so much paint could be onerous. I am planning to use this as a cover for a journal. I am linking to http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.com/
