Slow Stitching Sunday
I have been creating a fabric book with the theme of leaves. The pages are fabric with mixed media, bottom photo. Both sides of the fabric are covered. I didn't really think that through as that makes stitching on them pretty much impossible. That's okay, as I am good at problem-solving. The leaves pictured above will work perfectly for this project. Most of them are machine stitched but there is also some hand stitching. I will be adding more to the collection. All the stitching will be done and then the leaves will be glued to the pages. I also need to figure out how to bind all the pages together! Challenges, challenges! The mixed media pages still require some work as well. Some of the mediums are rather difficult. I don't want them o remain white and they aren't taking paints and inks very well.
