Work in Progress Wednesday
A while ago I signed up to participate in a collaborative art project. Recipes for Sustainability is the title of the project. I was mailed a 4x6 recipe card and directed to create something with no pressure. I decided to do a small weaving with fabric scraps many of which are silk. I have stitched it all together and adhered the piece to the recipe card. Now I just need to pop it in the mail. Each participant will receive a copy of everyone's recipe card. I can't wait to see what everyone else creates. I will have to be patient though as that won't happen until the end of the year. It is kind of interesting that I am working with recipe cards a lot lately. I took a bit of break from the Index Card a Day challenge though. The prompts weren't super interesting to me and I didn't have any extra time for it. I am hoping to get back into it this week.
