Not a Painter
When I say I am an artist a lot of people assume that means painter. I have never considered myself a painter even though I use paint often. Last summer I was having a lot of fun with paint and created these funky garden totems. I also painted a picnic table for Explore Waterloo Region. There might be another opportunity to paint another picnic table in the future. I am excited about that. My garden totems are bright and cheerful. They make me smile. They add a beautiful pop of colour to my backyard where no flowers will grow. The shade from our giant maple tree just doesn't allow for a garden.
