Journal Cover



I have made progress on repurposing this into a journal cover.  I cut it down to size and have added lots of beading.  I think it is going to be just right for my journal.  I am thinking I need to remove that large fuschia bead (upper left).  I love the shape of it but I think it might be too big and distracting.  What do you think?

    Yes I think you're right. The big bead draws your eye away from the work along the bottom.

    Hi Angela, I knew that this was your project! :-) I think that you will want to see if the size of the beads will affect how you can write in the journal - it may make it wobbly. I love it!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
