Mandala Monday
Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery hosts a free Family Day once a month. My granddaughter loves to go and I love to take her. It is such a lovely, special time for the two of us. We went yesterday and when chatting with the facilitator, I was dismayed to learn that we were the only visitors they had that day! What a shame! They set out four stations with a different art activity at each. The activities are fairly simple so that any age can participate. My granddaughter loved working with the modelling clay yesterday. We were there for almost two hours! She made a terrific underwater scene. She didn't need much help from me so I made a mandala collage. One simply can't sit around ignoring art supplies!
