Work in Progress Wednesday
Look at these gorgeous fabrics! I read about Bahama Hand Prints online and knew I had to get there. It was a bit of a walk from the port but so worth it. I read that they sell fat quarters and that is perfect for me. When we got there and I asked about the fat quarters the woman didn't understand what I wanted. The other woman suggested that she give me some of their scraps! Wow! She gave me a big bag of very useful scraps! So big that there was no way I was getting it home in my carry-on luggage. I went through the bag and pulled out some favourites. I wanted to get more but hubby said stop and he was right. What a treat! I am so glad that they make their beautiful scraps available to sewers. There was another woman in the store who took the rest of the bag. This fabric is too beautiful to end up in the landfill! The clothing they make from this fabric is also lovely.
