explorations of attachment techniques

I am happy with the way these elements turned out.  Studying the Artist Journals and Sketchbooks has been good.  I have to say that the attachments mostly concentrated on eyelets.  I think there are a lot more ways to attach things.  I should do some experimenting and post what I find.

    Beads! The only trouble for me with attachments is they stick out and I don't really like fat journals. They are great on cards though. Hmmm, that is a non-journal object isn't it? Now I have an idea for when I get to that lesson.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
