I am working on a crazy quilted stocking for my newest granddaughter. I have included snippets of fabric from clothing that my Dad, Mom, hubby and myself have worn. I am a sentimental sort to some degree. I don't have much more to do and should have it finished in time for Christmas. It was fun to visit my Christmas stash of fabric. It has been a long time since I have made anything in the Christmas theme. I may have gone a little overboard with all the fabric I have used! I have tried to tone it down by only using white or off-white trims and stitching. I am hoping today I can get this project closer to finished. I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
I have been to Elora only once, but I loved it! We went for our 25th anniversary and stayed at the Inn. I enjoyed walking around the town and seeing all the shops along the river.
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived closer. I'd love to take a class with you.
Congratulations. That's wonderful Angela. You will be a GREAT teacher!
ReplyDeleteHi Angela,
ReplyDeleteNice to meet another Canadian here in Blogland.
I must say your blog is fantastic, I love seeing everything you do..
I belong to a fibre arts group but I'm afraid I tend to lean to-ward bags, quilts, beads and dolls.I sell my things on Etsy.
Anyway did you meet Heather Stewart at Elora? I think she taught quilts there for the week?
She is one of 4 ladies in my quilt group (Mellow Yellows).
Anyway I am going to put you on my blog roll as your work is so inspiting..
Thanks for sharing.
xoxo
((((hugs))))
